Penelope Robin, also known internationally on her social media as @thepennyrobin, is a 15-year-old singer-songwriter and performer from Miami, FL. She began singing and acting at age 5 and was featured at age 8 in legendary club dance DJ Tony Moran’s video “Take it all the way.” Penny comes from an artistic family. Her Venezuelan mother is a producer and director who has worked with artists like Little Mix, Nile Rodgers, Kathy Sledge, and Martha Wash. Her father is Grammy nominated multi-platinum producer and songwriter, C-Rod, who has worked with celebrities such as Enrique Iglesias, Lady Gaga, Paulina Rubio, Jennifer Lopez, & many more.

The young songwriter was the host of “Beat on the Street” YouTube videos for the homeschooling software Time4Learning. In 2016, she was casted as one of the faces of Karisma Resorts International Nickelodeon Experience. In 2017, she performed in the Miami Youth Fair and the Locales Festival alongside Fat Joe and Alexis & Fido. Additionally, she was selected as one of the winners of the Phil Collins Little Dreams Foundation and was a finalist in the Young Talent Big Dreams Competition sponsored by The Children’s Trust in 2019. She stole the hearts of young Colombian fans when invited to share the stage with acclaimed Colombian singer Karol G as well as Puerto Rican singers Yandel and Cosculluela during the CEG Festival 2017 that took place in Buga, Colombia. Since then, performing live has been her passion and she has continued to play live every chance she gets. During the summer of 2019, she toured the Northeast visiting summer camps, Girl Scouts, Simon Malls, Playland Park, Adventureland, and Jones Beach Festival. In 2020, she performed in fundraisers in support of charities that are close to her heart, and was one of the headliners for the Coconut Grove Arts Festival where she performed with a full band under the musical direction of Shakira’s legendary musician and producer, Tim Mitchell. During the pandemic, she honed in on her songwriting skills and found her current musical sound which has grown with her and now captures elements of hard hitting guitars and drums combined with a unique pop twist that many compare to a modern Gwen Stefani fused with Machine Gun Kelly and Billie Eilish.

Currently, she is writing and recording new material while continuing to pursue opportunities for live performances.
